A new edition of the Forum of Mediterranean Maritime Heritage, one of the key gatherings organised by the Association of Mediterranean Maritime Museums, took place in Venice from 6th-8th May. The annual Forum always takes place in one of the AMMM members’ city, with the aim of offering the opportunity of getting to know and learn about new experiences and good practice. On this occasion, the Forum entitled MUSEUMS AND SEA CULTURAL LANDSCAPES, focused on environmental themes, targeting our maritime heritage and culture. The event was structured in 4 Workshops: Places, Communinity, Interpretation, and Policies tackling good practices of maritime museums and local professionals related to landscape and culture. Ecomuseum Batana presented its newest project "Approaching children: My first Peicia batana as didactic tool in transfering knowledge on maritime heritage"
