CHILDREN'S WORKSHOP “IMPORTANCE AND ENDANGERMENT OF MARINE FAUNA” - QUIZ AND DRAWING WITH A SPECIAL TECHNIQUE
The celebration of the upcoming Earth Day will begin with an educational-creative workshop “Importance and Endangerment of Marine Fauna,” held at the Ecomuseum-Ecomuseo by Ana Kvaranta, a fourth-year student at the Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek.
Students will first recall the contents of the permanent exhibition, and then, through an interesting quiz, they will learn about endangered species of marine fauna that inhabit the Adriatic Sea and become aware of their importance for preserving the ecosystem and natural balance. In their creative work, they will draw in a slightly different way. They will use a pencil to imprint motifs of endangered marine fauna, such as the loggerhead turtle and the great white shark, on recycled cans using textured lines.
This workshop is intended for upper elementary school students and is being conducted as part of research for a graduation thesis entitled "The Impact of Educational and Creative Workshops in Museums on Children's Artistic Creativity and Cultural Identity".
