The popular program "Nadàl in famìa" continues every day from 10:30 to 20:30 in front of the Ecomuseum-Ecomuseo "Batana" on the Big Pier, and on some days it is filled with additional content. As we approach Christmas, it is time to send Christmas cards. Although in this digital age, few people write their wishes on paper, perhaps a workshop with Tanja Ranić Rovis entitled "La cartuleîna-Čestitka-La cartolina" on Friday, December 19th from 18:30 will inspire someone to create a small work of art decorated with the poetics of the written Rovinj dialect using watercolors and calligraphy. While young and old will write the first words from the Rovinj holiday dictionary, Luciano Dandolo will do his best to ensure that the atmosphere around Batana's sweet little house is cheerful and relaxed.
Saturday at 10:30 will bring another edition of the workshop in which participants, with the leader Roberta Silva Malusà, will let their imagination run wild and make Christmas wreaths that will bring the colors and warmth of Batana's Christmas into their homes.
Saturday evening will be a moment for a special remembrance of a name that has found its place in the collective memory of Rovinj-Rovigno, the painter Bruno Mascarelli, whose life, arrival in Rovinj, connection with the community and artistic journey will be brought closer to the audience at 5 pm by Dario Sošić and Tanja Ranić Rovis. They will especially touch on Mascarelli's oil on canvas from 1949, "The Carousel-La giostra", which is kept in the holdings of the Rovinj City Museum. It was the main inspiration for awakening optimism through the program "Nadàl in famìa" and bringing a colorful carousel that brings joy and liveliness to Rovinj, unlike the abandoned Mascarelli carousel on Valdibora of long ago. All competitors and all fans of another edition of the old games for children will be able to enjoy this awakened joy, which will be even more exciting in the evening atmosphere from 6:30 pm with the energetic leadership of Vukica Palčić.
Sunday brings the beautiful voices of the Nuove Quattro Colonne to the Big Pier, whose repertoire will evoke the beauty of Rovinj's Christmas carols. During this time, Silvia Curto will give the participants of the holiday workshop "L'àlbaro da Nadàl-Božićno drvce-L'albero di Natale" another opportunity to learn useful techniques for making Christmas decorations and to take home a sense of satisfaction with their creative holiday achievements.
