The successful operation of the Ecomuseum-Ecomuseo "Batana", which for two decades has proudly held the title of the first ecomuseum in Croatia, unique in the Adriatic and the Mediterranean and inscribed on the UNESCO register, will be presented in Zagreb, on Saturday, March 22, in the Gallery of the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb.

Starting at 5:30 p.m., the Zagreb audience will have the opportunity to feel the breeze of the sea, hear traditional Rovinj songs and get to know the batana and its people, i.e. experience Rovinj-Rovigno in an authentic and special way.

The photo exhibition "Ecomuseo as a reference point of Rovinj's identity" will depict the twenty-year effort to preserve Rovinj's fishing and maritime heritage, which earned the Ecomuseum-Ecomuseo "Batana" entry on the UNESCO Register of Best Practices for the Preservation of Intangible Cultural Heritage.

We look forward to spending time with old and new friends and a nice Rovinj evening in the center of Zagreb.
